Feedback from two stages of community engagement in 2023 has suggested people want to see exemplary design. World-renowned firm Zaha Hadid Architects are engaged to create the buildings and are working with landscape architects at LDA Design who are developing (or curating) the new public spaces.

The designs seek to create a new landmark on this prominent city centre site that work with the grain of Bristol’s architecture. Legal & General is now sharing updated and more detailed artist’s impressions of what Temple Island could look like.

Zaha Hadid Architects has delivered some of the most recognisable buildings across the world, in cities such as Rome, London, Madrid and Beijing. Their “Morpheus” hotel won multiple global awards for architecture – but just as importantly they and Legal & General are committed to work with the grain of Bristol’s architecture.
